Snakeskin: Walk on the Wild Side

Leopard has always been a neutral to me. But snakeskin?! I had to think twice, actually. I’ve always been a bit daring when it came to fashion. If I liked it, I would wear it. But something about snakeskin intimidated me. I took the plunge with this vegan leather skirt. Now there’s no looking back! I’m actually quite obsessed with snakeskin since it’s something I’ve NEVER. EVER. OWNED. BEFORE. If you’re looking for something different, I’m confident any woman can pull this off – whether it be a skirt, top, dress, handbag, etc. If it seems too much at first, just try a scarf and see if you like it. We could all use a wardrobe refresh, and snakeskin definitely did it for me this season!

OOTD DEETS: Scoop skirt & Gap jacket (sold out in pink but available in regular denim color) are size small; boots are from Amazon in a size 8. No half sizes and they were running almost a full size smaller and NARROW. Since they have a pointed toe and I have WIDE feet, I trusted the reviews and went a whole size up. I did try on the size 7 and they fit, but a bit snug and they really pinched my pinky toes – so back they went and the size 8 make my feet so happy. They fit thick socks and inserts with ease. The tee- shirt is from Amazon in a large (Asian sizing, so it ran small! If you’re busty, size up!) As you can see, my sizes are all over the place! In Ann Taylor, Loft, Gap, Banana Republic – I’m a solid size 6. In Asian sizing, at least a medium, if not large.
