Hi! My name is Marikym and the voice behind Midsize Petite. I am a professional gal by day and blogger at night. Welcome to my website! I created this blog to help fill a void in the fashion industry: for gals who are on the curvy side but not plus and petite yet not tiny, either. I am 5’1″, a size 6-8 (sometimes 10 in button downs!) depending on the brand and shoe size 7-7.5. So my sizing is pretty average but I’m just on the short side! This is also my creative outlet that helps me relax and decompress from the daily grind. I am a workaholic (which feeds my shopaholic tendencies!), homebody tendencies (reality TV binges anyone?!), night owl, dog mom to Potato, married to my best friend (he also doubles as my photographer!), and currently enjoying life in New England.
All my outfits are affordable and my favorite places to shop are Amazon, TJMaxx, Express, Shein, Target, Walmart, and outlets – where I find name brands for a lot less! I am a firm believer that you can live well without breaking the bank. I would describe my style as cute, fun, and classy. I am a proud lover of pink, ruffles, and high heels – so my looks always have a girly-girl vibe🎀
